Through my own experience, I realised that I, like many of you, needed that little bit extra to help me reach my trading goal. For me, I had my setups and all the knowledge I could possibly have, years of 'trading' but I was not a consistent trader. I would gain a lot and end up giving it all back and more.  To be a successful trader, I always felt that I was nearly there and all I needed was someone to help me with that final bit. For me, it came via a mentor. I realized then that to be successful, I needed to own my method. No indicator or fundamentals will help you do that. My mentor is truly knowledgeable and I owe a lot to him. He helped me to see the market in a completely different light and strengthened my knowledge and confidence.

I understand what it's like. I have been there. I am now on the other side, so I thought I could use my coaching skills and my trading experience to help any would-be trader.  However, I am a trader first and foremost.  I have now transitioned to algorithmic trading.

​I aim to target the main move of the session and then call it a day. I used to trade ALL day before. I found this extremely tiring and of course, I burnt out. It made me remember why I had gone into trading in the first place. I got into trading so that I would have more free time to do the various other things I otherwise would not be able to do if I was working a 9-5 job.

The other reasons I went into trading were to make a lot of money, have a lot of spare time to spend with family, and travel the 4 corners of the world. Trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time, dedication, and total focus to make any headway. You cannot do this as a hobby (unless of course, you like gifting your money to the market. On that score, I have a better suggestion for you - give it to the Red Cross).

Because I am a trader first and foremost, I can only work with a few people at a time. This ensures that I give quality support to those who have entrusted me with their progress. The programs I offer are intense, therefore, I need some ‘headspace’ for my own trading.

I decided to offer to coach because I wish someone had offered me something similar to what I am offering now. It would have shortened my learning journey. However, part of me appreciates the journey I went through to get me where I am now. Had I not gone through that I would not be where I am today.
